Symbols, speech output and an intuitive user interface bring e-mail exchange within reach.
Symbol users can write symbol e-mail messages using the Selection Set. Incoming symbol messages will be displayed with symbols too. Text messages remain as text, but the user can listen to them if he has a speech synthesiser.
A photo or another image represents each e-mail address. This way the user can choose the correct recipient or recognise the sender, without having to read or write an e-mail address. The names of senders and recipients can also be listened to using the speech synthesiser.
In a Draft box pre-made e-mail templates can be stored to help the symbol user to write e-mails quicker. Which boxes are visible depends on the user's individual settings. There is no Sent box however. Finished messages are placed in the Outbox. When a message is sent, it stays in the Outbox, but by its appearance, you can see that it has been sent.
The E-mail program will be made available via the download page as soon as possible.
When the download is available, the manual will be published on the manuals page.
